Location - Lanikuhonua, Phase I

The outdoor ceremony and reception is perfect for us. We have more than 25% of our guests coming in from out of town, and we figured this is the best way to "showcase" our home to them. It's not your typical Waikiki hotel, etc. Plus, watching the sunset and dining and dancing under the stars will be a great way to start our new life together.

Best investment ever!! KathE is WONDERFUL. So far she's looked over all of my contracts, contacted a few of my vendors for me... Suggested other vendors. She's GREAT!

Rental Supplies - JMJ Rentals

Accel is a friend of my mom's, but he informed us his guys didn't want to work on a Sunday for a wedding, so we're going through JMJ instead (referred by Accel). Their stuff is nice and new, and the prices aren't crazy!

Shaun has really great prices for what he includes and he's been really really helpful so far!

Photography - Renai Photo

Eddy Fong of Renai. LOVE his work. Definitely worth a little "splurge" because at the end of the day, it's all we have. We're also doing 2 engagement shoots with him -- one in Hawaii when we return home for the holidays, and one in NYC sometime.

Videography - ImagineWurks Productions

Eric and Jody Kim of ImagineWurks are a great husband-wife team. They're extremely helpful, and find the best deals/packages for you. Eric's video work is amazing.

Invitations - Something Blue Hawaii

Love Susan's work! She's amazing. And has worked so hard with us and changed every little minor detail I wanted changed... she's great to work with!

Flowers - Watanabe Floral

We're doing a lot of DIY, because my aunts are very creative! We're purchasing the $100 gift cards for Watanabe at Costco for $80 instead! And then using the gift cards to purchase our flowers in bulk, and put them together ourselves for the centerpieces.
It's mainly my aunts doing this, as we're living in NYC at the moment! Lucky me =)

Catering - Yama's Fish Market

Brian helped us create a diverse menus that includes a lot of local favorites! For a great price too!

Entertainment - Carlos "The DJ" Feliciano

He seems very easy going and nice. He's been very helpful in letting us know when we need to have songs picked, etc.

Pretty Sweet Treats

Hired Jessica to make 150 beach themed cupcakes for the wedding. I thought about it and decided baking 150 cupcakes myself the week of the wedding probably wasn't the GREATEST idea... so I hired her! She's been amazing so far.
